Two cadets celebrate 150th anniversary of the cadet movement

The dedication of two adult officers from a Derbyshire school has been celebrated at a special royal event marking 150 years of the cadet movement.

Lieutenant Colonel Glyn Powell and Lieutenant Alison Hoskin represented Mount St Mary’s College, the Jesuit school, at the milestone event at the Guildhall in London.

The reception was held in the presence of the Duke of Edinburgh and Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, with flutes and corps of drums beating the retreat. It was organised to thank the adult officers who support the cadet movement across the country.
