Fr Richard Ho Lung and Friends have performed to a packed St Aidan’s church in Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire.

The concert given by the Four Tenors, members of Fr Ho Lung’s music group, was to raise money for the Missionaries of the Poor, an order started by Fr Ho Lung. According to the parish priest, Fr Ken Payne, the concert was a lively and exhilarating evening with songs in different styles.

The group also performed a concert in the Emmanuel Centre in London, as well as animating several celebrations of the Mass in Slough, Ealing, Forest Gate and Hounslow.

The money collected on these occasions, amounting to £9,521, will all go to the Women’s Crisis Centre in Jamaica and the Tree of Life Mission in Kenya. DVDs and CDs of the songs are available from Fr Payne, MoPSA, St Aidan’s, Little Chalfont, HP7 9NE, and shortly, the life story of Fr Ho Lung will be published, Joy for All? giving an account of how, under his inspiration, the Missionaries of the Poor started 30 years ago evolved.
