St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School hosts Walsall Stations of the Cross
As the spring term came to an end St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School pupils hosted the Walsall Deanery Schools’ Stations of the Cross in the church, writes Józef Łopuszyński.
Jean Richmond, headteacher of the Dartmouth Avenue school, said: “As a new headteacher I have been most impressed with the way all the schools in the Catholic cluster in Walsall work together to enhance the religious life of the pupils and celebrate the significant aspects of the religious calendar.
“Together with the staff at St Thomas of Canterbury school I felt very privileged to be asked to host the Stations of the Cross. It was a beautiful occasion that could not have taken place without the cooperation from the local RC Primary Schools and especially Fr Robert Murphy, the local parish priest.”
