Photo exhibition marks papal visit anniversary

Clifton Diocese is staging a photographic exhibition, One Year On, celebrating the Holy Father’s historic state visit to Britain last year.

One Year On looks back on the papal visit. It opens on Saturday, September 3, and runs until Saturday, October 1.

Fr Christopher Whitehead, director of Adult Education and Evangelisation, said: “Photographer Marcin Mazur has had a keen lens focused on Pope Benedict XVI during his papal journeys. This gifted artist led a team of young photographers following the Pope on his historic four-day state visit to the United Kingdom last September.”

The free exhibition is hosted by the Grant Bradley Gallery, Bristol. For more details visit the website Cliftondiocese.com.
