Justice & Peace Adviser and Social Action Adviser

The Diocesan Pastoral Team in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton currently has two vacancies, one for an Adviser specialising in the area of Justice & Peace, and the other, an Adviser specialising in the area of Social Action. These two strategic roles will support and encourage, both practically and spiritually, those in the Catholic community in the Diocese already involved in Justice & Peace, and in Social Action respectively, and inspire and enable others to get involved.

The two Advisers will work as members of the Diocesan Pastoral Team, based at the Christian Education Centre (DABCEC) in Crawley, West Sussex, and the roles will involve travel around the diocese, and some evening and weekend work.

The posts are both part-time (0.5 FTE i.e. 21/2 days per week) and the working hours are flexible.

Salary range: £21,000-£23,500 (pro rata) dependent on relevant experience.
