History tells us the pope did nothing until pressured by survivors and the press and so many still have difficulty working out which laws they should follow first - for me I prefer something that is properly formulated and is representative otherwise we will have to throw away any ideas we have of democracy, equality, human rights, dignity and human decency just to make allowances for the catholic church.
