Cardinal issues plea for peace to Buddhists

Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, head of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, has issued a message for the Buddhist celebration of Vesakh. He said Christ and Buddha were “promoters of non-violence”, urging Catholics and Buddhists to follow their example.
