About

Quentin was a regular Charterhouse columnist for several years. He is now responsible for the Science and Faith column, which appears fortnightly. He is the author of the Second Sight blog.

He reviews books frequently, and the theatre infrequently. He writes several feature articles a year, covering a wide range of subjects. His first regular column in the newspaper, under the pen name Gabriel, appeared over 50 years ago.

He has written several successful books, many translated into foreign languages, from Managing People and Problems to Autonomy and Obedience in the Catholic Church. His first book was published in 1964, and his next, Drawing Techniques, will be published by Search Press in August 2008.

He retired as managing director of a large unit trust company in 1996, and has worked harder ever since.

He leads the Philosophy Group for the Merton University of the Third Age.

He paints and draws, and has exhibited in major London galleries. For more information you can visit his website.
