DETAILS : Apostleship of the Sea is looking to appoint a London officer to develop a programme of engagement with parishes and schools in London to support its fundraising and raise its profile.
You will foster relations with parishes to support the Sea Sunday appeal and at other moments through the year. You will also initiate partnerships with schools to engage them in the work of AoS. The role will also involve taking the lead on other community fundraising events to support our ministry.
The officer will be a self-starter with the ability to inspire and build relationships; they will also have good familiarity with digital media and the ability to write good copy.
Part-time, 4 days per week, London based, £36K pro rata (12 month, fixed term contract)

DETAILS : THE LATIN MASS SOCIETY (LMS) is the leading organisation in England and Wales campaigning for wider provision of the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite in accordance with the Holy Father’s wishes, as expressed in Summorum Pontificum (2007) and Universae Ecclesia (2011). The role of the General Manager is to co-ordiante the work of the Society and to foster its success through enthusiastic development work and efficient administration. The General Manager reports to the Committee of the Society under the Terms of the Constitution, but will deal direct with the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer on a day-to-day basis to ensure the efficient administration and development of the Society. The Office co-ordinator, the Financial Administrator, the Editor of the Society’s magazine Mass of Ages, and the Press and Publicity Officer report to the General Manager. The General Manager’s responsibilities include, inter alia, the day-to-day running of the Society, supervising the Society’s employees, organising national and international events, maintaining contacts with the Catholic hierarchy and other bodies within the Church, legacy generation work, co-ordinator of the Society’s volunteers, and making strategic recommendations to the Society’s Committee concerning publicity, membership, and income and expenditure. This is a full-time role and some weekend working is required. Salary: £33,000 to £38,000

The Press and Publicity Officer will work closely with the Society’s Chairman and General Manager who will guide the overall direction of publicity. DETAILS : Can you encourage support for the faithful wherever they are persecuted, oppressed or in pastoral need? We are seeking someone with energy to represent the work of Aid to the Church in Need. You will be required to give 12 weekends of appeals per annum in parishes and up to 3 talks in schools, colleges and/or universities. You should possess a thorough knowledge of the Catholic Church, be a confident communicator, enjoy meeting the public and be used to public speaking. Computer literacy and a full driving licence are essential. Remuneration is offered for this part-time role. All new appointments are subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure.
