This role is key to the CTS achieving its mission to evangelise by helping Catholics to grow deeper in their faith and empowering them to pass on their faith to others. Communicating the depth and breadth of CTS publications through a range of channels is the primary focus of the marketing team. 

Your profile:

  • Experience in marketing online and offline with good project management skills, being able to plan and prioritise in order to achieve targets and deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm for the CTS mission and an interest in evangelisation.
  • Creative flair and judgment for delivery of inspiring communications and motivation to customers and members of the catholic and christian community, through a range of media, 
  • Ability to evaluate both campaign performance and findings from research in order to make recommendations for future work with the ambition to innovate and initiate activities.
  • A flexible, enthusiastic approach with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Reporting to Head of Sales and Marketing & located at the CTS Publishing Offices in Vauxhall, London. Salary range: £22k-24k (experience dependant)

DETAILS : THE LATIN MASS SOCIETY (LMS) is the leading organisation in England and Wales campaigning for wider provision of the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite in accordance with the Holy Father’s wishes, as expressed in Summorum Pontificum (2007) and Universae Ecclesia (2011). The role of the General Manager is to co-ordiante the work of the Society and to foster its success through enthusiastic development work and efficient administration. The General Manager reports to the Committee of the Society under the Terms of the Constitution, but will deal direct with the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer on a day-to-day basis to ensure the efficient administration and development of the Society. The Office co-ordinator, the Financial Administrator, the Editor of the Society’s magazine Mass of Ages, and the Press and Publicity Officer report to the General Manager. The General Manager’s responsibilities include, inter alia, the day-to-day running of the Society, supervising the Society’s employees, organising national and international events, maintaining contacts with the Catholic hierarchy and other bodies within the Church, legacy generation work, co-ordinator of the Society’s volunteers, and making strategic recommendations to the Society’s Committee concerning publicity, membership, and income and expenditure. This is a full-time role and some weekend working is required. Salary: £33,000 to £38,000

The Press and Publicity Officer will work closely with the Society’s Chairman and General Manager who will guide the overall direction of publicity.
